“At a point where companies are cutting back and writers often work solo, MWA provides me with the chance to mingle and share ideas and information with other professional writers. And while there are many groups aimed at novelists or poets, I was so happy to find MWA, which is aimed at writers involved in fields like mine-journalism, public relations and corporate communications.” — Ellen Pritsker, web/print content writer and former Chicago Tribune staff

“There are many writers groups out there but I’m happy I found Midwest Writers. It has quality programs and quality members.” — Sue Baugh, author

  1. The Writers Association fills a void in my heart.
I look forward to friendship, professional relationships and educational meetings.

  2. I’m a retired clinical psychologist and college teacher, now engaged in writing. I self published a book titled Economics as a Symptom of Sadism, Pathology in American Culture and Education and the Legitimizing Myths that Support it. I am updating the book, but I won”t self publish again. My book is available from Amazon and in some university libraries, but I think self published books are not respected.

I don’t need help in writing. I just might need help in publishing.
